We will be preparing an official manual for Digifort Mobile Client when it´s final version is released, until then, you can use this quick start guide to use the BETA version that is already released!

Below is the "main screen" of Digifort Mobile Client

Swiping to right (->) you will see the list of objects from connected servers such as cameras and global events (Triggers, to trigger an event) and swiping to left (<-) you will have the "Favourites", "Server registration" and "Settings"

Before start using the software you must first register a new server, swipe screen to left, click the server registration and "Add"

Fill in the server data and save

Server will appear on the list, just tap the server and Digifort Mobile Client will try to connect to the server.

After connection is established, the cameras and events will be downloaded.

Note that you CAN be connected to multiple servers simultaneously!

You can also set some servers to connect automatically when the client is started, to do that you just have to tap on the "star" icon from each server. The servers with the "star" option activated will be connected automatically on startup

Swipe the screen to right in order to view the cameras list and tap a camera.

The camera will be added to the screen (Along with the next cameras to fill the screen style)

If you want to view a specific camera in full screen, just double tap it and it will get into full screen. Double tap it again and you will get back to the "view" style

The amount of simultaneous cameras on the view are defined in the app "Settings" you can select:
2 or 3 camera layout when device is in Portrait position
4 or 9 camera layout when device is in Landscape position

To view the next cameras just swipe up and the next cameras from the list will be displayed
To view the previous cameras just swipe down and the previous cameras from the list will be displayed

Every object in the client can be "Favorited", to do that you just have to tap the "Star" near each object icon, you can favorite Cameras and Events. When you favorite an object it will be available on the right-hand side list, the favorites list.

The favorites list is used for quick access to the objects, so you will have quick access to your most used cameras and events.

You can sort the favorites list by dragging and dropping the objects (Taping and moving the object by it´s icon)

When you click on an object from the favorites list, this list will be used to change between objects in the main view, so when you swipe to change cameras, the next camera that will be displayed is the next camera in the sequence of Favorites list.

If you tap on an object from the main object list, then, the main object list will be used instead.

To remove an object from favorites, just tap the star near the object icon

The registered global events inside Digifort server can be triggered from Mobile Client, allowing you to do many alarm and automation tasks such as opening a gate, turning devices on and off, you have unlimited options.

To activate an event, just tap on it and a confirmation message will be displayed.

Use favourites at startup - When activated, the software will use the favorites list instead of main list as default when software is open

Frame Rate - Set the frame rate that you want to receive the video (Note that the frame rate cannot be higher than the Recording Profile from the server)
Quality - Set the quality of the images (The lower, the less bandwidth it will use)
Resolution - Set the resolution of the images (Note that the resolution cannot be higher than the Recording Profile from the server)

Portrait Style - Select the screenstyle for Portrait orientation (2 or 3 cameras)
Lanscape Style - Select the screenstyle for Landscape orientation (4 or 9 cameras)

Use joystick control if supported - If activated, the PTZ control will be changed by a joystick style PTZ control for continuous movement (For cameras that supports joystick style control)

For PTZ Cameras, Digifort Mobile Client supports two types of PTZ controls, Simple and Joystick

The PTZ controls will be overlayed on the camera image

This is the "Simple" ptz control. On the right-hand side you can control the camera PTZ and on the left-hand side you can set the "Power" of movement

By clicking the arrows on the bottom-right you will be able to use the presets

If you activate the "Joystick" from settings you will have a different kind of control:

On the right-hand side you can control the camera Pan and Tilt like using a joystick
On the left-hand side you can control the camera zoom

Virtual Matrix
If you are using an edition of Digifort that supports Virtual Matrix, you will be able to send the images that you are viewing from your mobile to any monitor of the Virtual Matrix

To send an image to the virtual matrix, you have to set the camera you want to send to Full Screen first.

When camera is on full screen, long press on the image and the list of monitors of virtual matrix will be displayed

Select the monitor to which you want to send the camera to by sliding the monitor list
When the desired monitor is select just "Send" the image to the monitor by swiping up

The last used monitor will be saved, so, the next time you want to send an image to a monitor, the last monitor will already be selected. You don´t even have to release your finger from the screen if the correct monitor is already selected, just long press (and hold) until the monitor list appear and swipe up to send the image to the monitor

You can easily share the image that you are viewing by e-mail, message and any supported sharing options that your device may have, to do that, just have a camera in full-screen mode and tap the "Share" button on the top-right of the screen
